Available in two sizes - the small making approximately 2 bracelets or 1 necklace ($15), and large making approximately 5 bracelets or 2 necklaces ($24) - these make great stocking stuffers for the crafty kiddos. Each paper bead is rolled by hand from recycled newspaper by Vi Bella artisans in Haiti and Mexico. We’ve included the elastic, seed beads, and charms to make these creations their own. The insert contains instructions and information about the artisans who made the beads. Not only is this kit a great project, it’s an experience in learning about other cultures.

Our new artisan team in Pignon, Haiti, has been hard at work mastering the art of paper bead making. Recycled newspaper is cut into long triangular strips and are then rolled onto a skewer, sealed, then painted. It can be tough to get the beads similar in size, so it’s been a learning process. With this gorgeous Mustard Seed Faith Bracelet Set, they have included a mountain charm and a mustard seed set in resin. This bracelet set will remind your recipient of what Jesus says; if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Fredonar is a talented Haitian artisan working with twigs, seagrass, and other natural materials. We fell in love with his Fringe Placemats, which are made from all-natural, sustainable seagrass; readily available on this island nation!
