What is Vi Bella's production process?
Designers in the United States design on-trend pieces using sustainable materials when possible. Components and tutorials are shipped to artisans in Haiti and Mexico where artisans use their own skills and learn new techniques to carefully craft the pieces. The pieces are then sent back to the United States and then we mail them out to you!
How many artisans does Vi Bella employ?
We currently are able to provide excellent wages and a supportive working environment to over 60 artisans and staff in Haiti, Mexico, and the United States
What is ethical employment?
Ethical employment is employment that is based upon caring and knowing the people we employ and fostering a community among artisans. It includes fair wages and safe and healthy working conditions. It excludes child-labor.
Why is Vi Bella a business and not a non-profit?
Businesses build communities! We love that Vi Bella is set up to provide long-term employment for artisans. We are able to focus on giving back to the artisans with good wages and a healthy working environment.
